Jerome Rowan
Director of Veterans and Sponsorship Initiatives
Mr. Rowan is the director of veterans and sponsorship initiatives for WexTrade Financial.
Mr. Rowan is a founder and president of Service Disabled Veteran Enterprises, Inc. (SDVE), which provides a comprehensive service disabled veteran supplier solution for government agencies
and corporations.
Mr. Rowan successfully lobbied the Legislature to establish Public Law 108-183, which gained access to more than $10 billion in federal procurement contracts for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOBs). Formed in 2004 after the enactment of the Public Law, SDVE encourages other SDVOBs to take full advantage of this legislation, which allows the businesses to receive sole source and restricted competition contracts for goods and services used by the
U.S. government.
Previously, Mr. Rowan served as a managing partner for a large transportation retail operation which generates more than $52 million in annual sales. He has also served as the president of the alliance between Telecommunications Rehabilitation Corporation and Service Disabled Veterans Business Group. Mr. Rowan also raised capital for Veterans Entrepreneurship legislation through corporations in the private sector.
Mr. Rowan also led a national delegation of business leaders on an international business mission and later aided in the establishment of the first duty-free business in South Africa.
