Sleepscan Airflow Pressure Transducer
Now there is a new way to monitor decreased nasal pressure, providing a signature of upper airway resistance.
Sleepscan's, lightweight, Airflow Pressure Transducer works on the basis of pressure not temperature so it can detect shallow breathing where temperature related transducers remain substantially unchanged.
The solid-state pressure transducer produces low-level electrical signals for input into a headbox or auxiliary DC input giving you a single channel of reliable airflow. It can also be connected to a CPAP mask to detect pressure changes within the mask. Or choose the single-use, disposable, nasal cannula.
