Netlink Family of Amplifiers

… Your Links to Ethernet Amplifiers

Reliable, efficient access to data is a vital asset in our quest for information and competitive advantage. Labs thousands of miles apart need to share information instantaneously, just as those in a single location simultaneously share and review data.

The Ethernet network is the glue that binds these elements together. Bio-logic employs this very technology in every Netlink and XL II amplifier.

Using an Ethernet connection, Netlink and XL II are able deliver picture perfect data, free from interference, real-time, wherever you need it. No other data transmission technology is able to deliver this level of performance.

Netlink amplifiers provide advanced features and a wide range of capabilities with up to 44 channels:

  • Technologist Friendly Remote controls stop/restart recordings, or test electrode impedances- right at the patient. Built-in electrode tester confirms the integrity of electrodes before they’re put on.
  • World Class Electronics- All channels internally sampled at 524,000 Hz providing high accuracy digital filtering and programmable storage rates of 256Hz to 1024 Hz. 22 bit A to D converters provide unsurpassed signal quality.
  • The Right Connections- Light weight, patient-wearable jack boxes provide unmatched signal quality and convenience. A single Ethernet connection brings the data to the recording system.
  • Pulse Oximetry- Built-in digital oximeter option provides accurate pulse rate and SaO2. without taking up any extra space in labs or patient rooms.
  • DC Channels- 8 programmable DC channels are provided for connecting a broad range of external monitoring devices.
  • Adaptive Sampling- Combining SmartPack, Bio-logic's patented loss less on-line compression technology, and very high sample rates provides superior frequency response without the penalty of larger data files.
  • Polysomnography- 8 DC channels, body position monitor, synchronized digital video, versatile data trending, CO2 monitoring, esophageal pressure, CPAP pressure, airflow, effort, leg movements, programmable reports and more.

XL amplifiers are designed solely for epilepsy monitoring and provide up to 128 channels of advanced amplifier technology and networking capabilities:

  • Purposeful Design- XL II is compact, requiring very little space in the patient’s room, yet it’s designed for continuous use.
  • Advanced Technology- All channels internally sampled at 524,000 Hz providing high accuracy digital filtering and programmable storage rates of 256Hz to 1024 Hz. 22 bit A to D converters provide unsurpassed digital signal quality. Very high frequency response. Packet-based signal data stream is sent to its destination without interference.
  • The Right Connections- Light weight, wearable Quick-tilttm jack boxes designed specifically for continuous epilepsy monitoring. Quick-tilt jackboxes permit the electrodes connectors to lay flat, out of the way. Electrodes may be rotated up for easy access and servicing. Quick-tilt jackboxes provide unmatched patient comfort, performance and durability.
  • Versatile Configurations- XL II may be configured to record from any combination its 128 channels. Each electrode may be named, eliminating confusion and the need for "cheat sheets". Groups of channels may be designated and manipulated separately; i.e. scalp channels, grids, strips, depth channels. Up to 8 separate, programmable reference inputs are provided for the ultimate in recording versatility.
  • Research Features- XL II’s packet-based signal data stream can be directed to two IP locations simultaneously. This powerful, unique Data Transfer feature permits researchers to receive real-time digital data, anywhere. XL II’s data stream is easily readable by several third-party software systems used for event clustering and analysis to source analysis/modeling and MRI/fMRI visualization.
  • Adaptive Sampling- Combining SmartPack, Bio-logic's patented loss less on-line compression technology, and very high sample rates provides superior frequency response without the penalty of larger data files.
